Dennis Stinson, Vice President of Sales at Fujitsu, joined me on this episode to discuss the issue of energy usage and energy efficiency during this pandemic, how to bring atmospheric comfort to your home, various types of available heat pumps/mini splits, and more. If you are thinking of adding these to your home, you’ll be interested in this episode.

My take aways from this episode?

  • There is a floor mounted fixture that you could use instead of those wall mounted cassettes that some people don’t love. It looks just like a radiator. Now that I think of it, this is what they have in Marriot hotel rooms under the window. But this is better than the wall, in many cases. Here is what they look like:
  • Some people sleep in hot rooms! I like to sleep in a room that is about 55 degrees, in winter. Dennis mentions sleeping in 72 degree rooms. Am I crazy? What temperature room do you prefer to sleep in? Let me know because now I am really curious. In the summer we don’t have air conditioning so we have no control over the temperature then. I do love a cool breeze at night.
